it is probably not the distributor that is bad. check your timing belt it is probably broken.How to repair Distributor..?
They can be repaired but you are better off to replace the whole distributor.
why do you believe the distributor is the problem? Just because it's not rotating?
If this is the case, it's not the distributor, it's the timing belt. The distributor turns off a gear on the end of the camshaft. The cam is turned by the timing belt which is likely broken.
Take the valve cover off and see if the cams are turning as the engine is cranked. This will tell you a lot.
