How do you change an ignitor?

I have a 91 honda accord. I am having problems out of it and my uncle believes it is the distributor. BUT someone said it is probably the ignitor? How hard is an ignitor to change? And Can I get some info on it?How do you change an ignitor?
The ignitor is usually located on or inside the distributor....if outside, you will have screws holding it to the distr. along with an electrical harness....

If internal (which Honda uses) will be the insert type.....some of them also have screws...but have plug style electrical connectors.....

to get to the Internl, you have to remove the distr cap.How do you change an ignitor?
ur uncle is right its not a barbiecue its a car ignitor is ur spark source the same thing as ur dist good luck
you best bet would be to get a good repair manual on it it will give more accurate answers and pictures than on here about replacing it,and you wont have to guess about it, i use them in the shop because of the information they contain, good luck,i hope this help,s.
