Is there a resource for looking up average repair times for auto issues?

I would like to know how long it would/should take to change the rotar, distributor cap, plugs, and plug wires, on a 92 chevy 1500 pick up 5.0 LTIs there a resource for looking up average repair times for auto issues?
Most shops can do this in %26lt; one hour. As for what they charge, perhaps one to two hours at shop rates.

To really know what the repair estimates are, you can peruse the shop estimator manuals at the local library.

But that is only a basic estimate. There may well be additional charges, or a ';padded'; time estimate to accommodate broken or lost fasteners, shop supplies etc.
