Hey eveyone and thanks for taking the time to read this and help out. i have a 1964 GMC truck (My hot rod to be) i can turn a wrench but lack some of the knowlege to do this. It has a late model Chevy 350 small block in it. I want to change from the points distributor to a HEI. i have the new HEI, coil, plug wires and , plugs. what i need to know is how to pull out the old one and replace it with the new HEI with out screwing it up. if someone would be kind enough to give me steps to take to complete this would help out tons! thanks again!How to up grade from points to HEI step by step help please!?
put the distributor in, time it, the same as the point distributor
all you need now is a hot wire, use same wire from old coil
(pos. side) 12 volts
