How to change a distributor mounting gasket?

Do you mean the O ring gasket if this is what you are talking about take your dist. cap off and just bump the key and get the rotor aimed at the fire wall and mark on the firewall where it is pointing. Remove the distributor remove the bolt holding it in on the intake. Make sure you unplug every thing and lift it out you may have to wiggle it a little you will see the 0 ring replace it and reverse the process making sure the rotor button lines up with your mark.How to change a distributor mounting gasket?
